Junior Interior Designer | Luxury Residential Interior Design | Houston, TX

This is an excellent opportunity for a junior interior designer/design assistant to join a group of highly skilled designers and work on exceptional residential design projects.

We are seeking for our client a high energy, positive-minded junior interior designer with experience in luxury residential design. In this role, you will be working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment assisting the design team on all facets of residential design projects.

Qualifications and skills

  • 2 years of residential interior design experience
  • Experience with residential FF&E vendors & material specifications/selection
  • Design software knowledge a plus (AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Etc.)
  • Strong space planning abilities
  • Furniture line knowledge and specifications
  • Excellent client/customer service and communication skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with creative input
  • Extremely collaborative and creative
  • Excellent presentation skills in small/large group settings and/or in virtual conference calls
  • Finely tuned and tasteful eye for color, texture and pattern
  • Able to research, prepare and present color and material concepts in a tasteful and unique format along with space plans, elevations and details
  • Models a highly organized approach to the design process resulting in on time, on budget deliverables
