Job summary

Cherokee Insights seeks a Junior Intelligence Analyst to support the DCSA Vetting Risk Operations team in screening and vetting individuals for DoD security clearances. The role emphasizes pattern analysis and collaboration across analysts, collectors, and investigators.

You will contribute to intelligence products and present findings to stakeholders. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and DoD/IC training, with 2+ years of experience or 4 years alternative.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent intelligence experience.
• 2+ years intelligence analyst experience or 4 years alternative.
• Graduate of a DoD/IC basic intelligence analyst training course.
• Knowledge of IC agencies, missions, databases and tools.
• Ability to perform pattern, trend, and link analysis from intelligence data.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pattern, trend, and link analysis from intelligence reporting, message traffic, and other data sources.
• Collaborate with intelligence analysts, collectors, and investigators to enhance analysis and develop intelligence products.
• Gather and analyze business processes and procedures, making recommendations for efficiencies.
• Stay up-to-date with IC agencies and organizations' missions and databases.
• Utilize intelligence databases to extract, analyze, and report information.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations based on analytical findings.
• Communicate effectively, orally and in writing, to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of intelligence products.
• Participate in intelligence briefings, meetings, and workshops.
