Job summary

Truist is seeking an Institutional Investment Analyst to partner with Senior Institutional Investment Managers and the Investment Advisory Group to deliver sophisticated investment advisory and portfolio management services to institutional clients.

You will provide portfolio analysis, investment research, performance reporting, and client presentation support across public, non-profit and private institutions with assets over $25 million.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field or equivalent education and training.
• 2+ years of investment management / trading or related experience.
• Demonstrated understanding of finance and investment theory; strong presentation and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support construction, monitoring and maintenance of institutional portfolios; perform investment analysis and performance evaluations.
• Prepare reviews, reports and market commentary; assist in client meetings and communications.
• Assist in new business development by analyzing prospective portfolios and preparing investment recommendations.
• Assist in development and monitoring of Investment Policy Statements (IPS) and ensure fiduciary compliance.
• Support trading execution, cash management, rebalancing and portfolio implementation.
• Provide portfolio support for Dealer Trust Services; assist in investment reporting and client communications.
• Participate in risk management and compliance activities; ensure adherence to policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Investment Managers, Wealth teammates and Compliance to deliver integrated solutions.
