CANIZARES LAW GROUP, LLC seeks a Junior/Entry-Level Immigration Attorney to join our nationwide immigration practice. This role offers training, mentorship, and exposure to asylum, removal proceedings, family-based petitions, and more. Fluency in Spanish and admission to a U.S.

state bar are required to serve clients effectively. The ideal candidate has strong research and writing skills, professional communication, and a drive to grow within immigration law.

Qualifications

• JD degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed and in good standing with a U.S. state bar.
• Spanish proficiency required.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Willing to travel outside the state when necessary.

Responsabilités

• Communicating regularly with clients about case status.
• Managing an assigned caseload and meeting deadlines.
• Conducting legal research on immigration law.
• Drafting motions, briefs, memoranda, declarations.
• Reviewing applications, petitions, and filings.
• Preparing clients for USCIS interviews and Immigration Court.
• Appearing at USCIS interviews and court proceedings under supervision.
• Collaborating with attorneys, paralegals, and staff.
• Staying informed on legal and policy developments.
• Developing legal strategies with supervising attorneys.
