Kareneva Law Firm in Carrollton, TX seeks a collaborative Junior Immigration Attorney (full-time or part-time) to work directly with clients and support experienced attorneys in a busy immigration practice.

You will meet with clients, assist with USCIS interviews, hearings, and filings, conduct legal research, prepare applications, and manage case notes and deadlines, with bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Meeting and communicating with clients regarding their immigration matters.
  • Accompanying and representing clients at USCIS interviews, immigration court proceedings, and other appointments as appropriate.
  • Reviewing and assisting with immigration filings, motions, applications, and supporting evidence.
  • Conducting legal research and assisting with case strategy.
  • Preparing clients for interviews and hearings.
  • Working closely with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to manage active cases.
  • Maintaining accurate case notes, deadlines, and client communications.

Education

J.D. from an accredited law school
Licensed and in good standing with a U.S. state bar
