Job summary

Aetos Systems, Inc. is seeking an Imagery Systems Engineer to research, design, test, and oversee installation of electrical communication and imagery systems at Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.

The role supports mission imagery systems (photo and video) and requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science; U.S. citizenship is required for NASA background checks, with drug testing and a valid Florida driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to pass a NASA background investigation.
• Must be able to pass an initial and random drug testing.
• Must have and maintain a valid Florida Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, develop, test, and oversee installation of electrical communication systems at Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
• Define configuration of imagery components including Baseband, Infrared, High Speed Digital and IP camera systems, pan/tilt, tracking, timecode inserters, video encoders/decoders, and display units.
• Collaborate with customers to develop system requirements and work with drafting to maintain detailed drawings.
• Estimate material and labor requirements, order components, and coordinate with manufacturers/suppliers to meet project deadlines.
• Oversee testing procedures and support day-to-day operations for imagery systems across facilities.
