Job summary

HILLSBORO R-III SCHOOL DISTRICT is seeking a Jr. High Assistant Track Coach to instruct students in sports techniques and promote their physical development. This seasonal position offers a salary ranging from $4,100 to $4,949 based on experience.

The successful candidate will organize practices, enforce safety rules, and conduct competitions. A Missouri State Teaching Certificate and a minimum of 60 credit hours are preferred qualifications for this role.

Qualifications

• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Effective communication skills both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students in sports techniques.
• Plan programs for student development.
• Organize and conduct competitions.

Skills

Instruction in individual and team sports

Ability to enforce safety rules

Knowledge of sports techniques

Strong communication skills

Education

Missouri State Teaching Certificate preferred

Minimum 60 credit hours and Missouri Substitute Certificate
