Job Summary To plan, organize and implement an appropriate instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential.

JOB TITLE: Teacher

Essential Functions

• Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences.
• Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.
• Maintain accurate records of all students.
• Develop schemes of work and lesson plans.
• Utilize effective classroom management techniques.
• Work collaboratively with building administration, teachers, parents/guardians and students.
• Establish an effective rapport with students assigned.
• Identify and select different instructional resources and methods to meet students’ varying needs.
• Utilize technology to support instruction.
• Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students.
• Manage student behavior.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
