Job summary

Young World Physical Education is seeking a Junior High Girls Wrestling Coach to develop and lead the girls wrestling program for the Louisa-Muscatine Community School District. This full-time position requires assisting with practices and motivating students, along with effective communication with peers and parents.

The ideal candidate holds a coaching certificate and possesses knowledge of wrestling strategies. Coaches will work closely with the Activities Director and head coach to fulfill the district's athletic goals.

Qualifications

• Assist with conducting practices and instructing student athletes.
• Possess knowledge of the rules and strategies of wrestling.
• Good attendance and human relations skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Instruct players in the rules and techniques of wrestling.
• Organize and direct individual and small group practices.
• Assess players' skills and monitor performance.

Skills

Knowledge of overall athletic program operations

Current state coaching/activities supervision certification

Ability to establish effective working relationships
