• Teach and reinforce wrestling fundamentals, proper technique, rules, conditioning, and age-appropriate strategies.
• Plan and conduct organized, purposeful practices that support skill development and prepare student-athletes for competition.
• Promote a safe, inclusive environment that prioritizes proper technique, injury prevention, athlete well-being, and sportsmanship.
• Foster a positive team culture centered on effort, confidence, accountability, growth, and teamwork.
• Communicate effectively and build positive relationships with student-athletes, parents, school staff, and other wrestling coaches.
• Encourage participation and support the continued growth of girls wrestling at the junior high and high school levels.
• Supervise student-athletes during practices, competitions, travel, and other team activities.
• Follow all school district, conference, and athletic association policies, including requirements related to eligibility, weight management, and competition.
• Model professionalism, integrity, and respect while supporting student-athletes’ academic, personal, and athletic development.
