Qualifications

• Some previous experience in Health & Safety, EHS, facilities, maintenance or site operations.
• Knowledge of OSHA.
• Interest in developing a career across Health & Safety and Facilities.
• Hands-on, practical approach and willingness to learn.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Willingness to learn new regulations and responsibilities.
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, workshops, laboratories or industrial environments would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of workplace safety procedures and policies.
• Carry out site inspections, identify hazards and follow up on improvements.
• Assist with risk assessments, safety documentation and incident investigations.
• Help ensure compliance with OSHA and Washington State safety regulations.
• Work with engineers and technicians to promote safe working practices.
• Support the day-to-day running and upkeep of the facility.
• Carry out minor maintenance, repairs and general workshop/site improvements.
• Coordinate contractors for building maintenance and facilities services.
• Support workshop layouts, equipment moves and site improvements.
• Work with the wider team to keep the site safe, organised and operational.

We're working with a growing advanced manufacturing business in Seattle looking for a hands-on, motivated individual to support Health & Safety and Facilities operations at their site.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with some experience in workplace safety, EHS coordination, facilities or a similar environment who is looking to take the next step in their career.

You don't need to be a Health & Safety expert. We're looking for someone who is practical, organised, willing to learn and confident getting involved in day-to-day site activities.

You'll work closely with experienced UK-based Health & Safety and Facilities teams, gaining exposure to both disciplines while becoming an important point of contact for the Seattle site.

What You'll Be Doing

Health & Safety

• Supporting the implementation of workplace safety procedures and policies.

What We're Looking For

• Some previous experience in Health & Safety, EHS, facilities, maintenance or site operations.
• Knowledge of OSHA
• A genuine interest in developing a career across Health & Safety and Facilities.
• A practical, hands-on approach and willingness to get involved.
• Confidence using basic hand tools and carrying out minor maintenance tasks.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities and take initiative.
• Willingness to learn new regulations, processes and responsibilities.

Experience within manufacturing, engineering, workshops, laboratories or industrial environments would be particularly beneficial.

Washington State safety regulations would be advantageous, but you don't need to know everything from day one.
