Job summary

IBM is seeking Hardware Development Engineers to design, test and support hardware, firmware and semiconductor products across IBM zSystems, Power Systems, Storage and Quantum platforms. You will work on RTL design, verification, physical design, EDA, and system-level testing with a focus on performance and reliability.

The role requires strong knowledge of C/C++, Python or Java, hardware description languages (VHDL/Verilog), SPICE, and experience with FPGA/ASIC workflows.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related fields.
  • Experience in hardware design or testing.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test and support hardware, firmware and semiconductor products.
  • Participate in RTL design, verification, and physical design tasks.
  • Support electronics assembly, testing, and integration with IBM platforms.
