Job summary

YMCA Quakertown is seeking a Junior Gymnastics Team Coach to join our community-focused team. This part-time role offers evenings and weekends with compensation at $18 per hour, celebrating youth growth and athletic development.

You will design progressive training plans, mentor junior coaches, and communicate closely with athletes and families, reporting to the Branch director in a collaborative, non-profit environment.

Qualifications

• 16+ years of age.
• 3+ years of experience in gymnastics setting.
• Ability to design and implement progressive training plans.
• Strong communication with athletes and families.

Responsibilities

• Shaping training strategies, supervising coaches, and preparing gymnasts for high-level competition.
• Reporting to the Branch director.
• Strong communication with athletes and families.
• Strong leadership and mentorship for assistant/junior coaches.
• Confident spotting of advanced tumbling and apparatus skills.
• Routine composition and performance optimization experience.
• Assisting directors in developing new gymnastics-centered fitness programs.
