Qualifications

• 0–3 years in building automation, controls or instrumentation (internship/tech role acceptable).
• Ability to read control drawings, panel schedules and wiring diagrams.
• Basic understanding of HVAC systems and building automation concepts (setpoints, sequences, alarms).
• Comfort with regulated documentation environments and meticulous record-keeping.
• Strong organizational skills across multiple scripts and test evidence.
• On-site work in Winston‑Salem, NC for the engagement.

Responsibilities

• Execute IQ/OQ test scripts under the Senior Controls Validation Engineer.
• Record and organize test evidence with traceability for GxP records.
• Verify wiring, device addressing and controller configs against schedules.
• Support field walkdowns for alarm lights, room pressures, and instrument locations.
• Assist with deviation documentation and traceability matrix upkeep.
• Escalate discrepancies between as-built and field conditions promptly.
• Maintain inspection-ready validation binders and electronic records.
• Coordinate scheduling and logistics for field execution activities.
