Job summary

Renew Cannabis Co. seeks a detail-focused horticulture assistant to monitor pest pressures, disease indicators, and crop quality in greenhouse operations. You will manage irrigation-related tasks, record daily measurements, and support CO2 dosing oversight under grower supervision.

The role emphasizes precise data logging, adherence to established procedures, and ongoing participation in module-based training over six months. This on-site position supports production in our California facilities.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow up, document progression and results analysis.

• Basic chemistry knowledge for fertilizer handling and plant care.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report pest pressure in greenhouses to the grower.
• Monitor disease signs and ensure crop quality standards.
• Oversee specialty tasks such as planting and irrigation maintenance details as needed.
• Record daily irrigation, EC and pH values on the grower’s data board.
• Ensure CO2 dosing is monitored for accuracy and safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the grower or supervisor.

Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Monitor and report pest pressure in the greenhouses to the grower.
• Monitor for disease plants and quality standards for crop work
• Monitor “specialty jobs” such as planting, pest & disease work and maintenance problems that could adversely impact production.
• Irrigation of crop, monitoring and calibrating all grow scales, over drain trays, EC and pH sensors.
• Monitor that the proper settings are implemented according to discussions with the grower.
• Ensure that the monitoring of the drain, dripper measurements, pathway bottles, back washing of the sand filters, cleaning of the disc filters and pressure of the irrigation system is taken care off, according to specifications of the grower.
• Sampling of fertilization to be done on a consistent base.
• To keep track of plant growth
• Monitor all irrigation of crop
• To insure that CO2 is monitored for correct dosage.
• Record daily irrigation, drain, EC and pH on the growers data board
• Record plant measurements
• Weekly operation report, given by the grower.

• For this position you will need to complete modules: Introduction Horticulture, Water- Introduction , Irrigation and Fertilization, which includes successfully passing them within the first 6 months. Then will continue to complete Priva Modules as assigned every 6 months after Then will continue to complete Priva Modules as assigned every 6 months after
