HealthBay is seeking a Junior Graphics Designer on a full-time contract in Charlotte, NC to create visual content and support marketing and branding initiatives in line with brand guidelines.

The role involves developing concepts, producing digital and print materials, collaborating with senior designers and cross-functional teams, and ensuring high-quality deliverables on multiple projects within deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Digital Media, Marketing, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in graphic design, visual communications, or a related creative role.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, or comparable design software.
• Basic understanding of typography, color theory, layout, composition, and visual hierarchy.
• Strong creative, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain brand consistency.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, design fundamentals, and attention to detail.

Job description

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior Graphics Designer (JGD3268) to join our team on a full-time contract basis. The Junior Graphics Designer will be responsible for creating visual content, supporting marketing and branding initiatives, developing design concepts, and producing high-quality digital and print materials that align with company standards and brand guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Create digital graphics, marketing materials, presentations, social media content, and other visual assets.
• Develop design concepts, layouts, and visual compositions based on project requirements.
• Apply brand guidelines consistently across digital and print materials.
• Assist with photo editing, typography, color selection, image manipulation, and basic illustration.
• Collaborate with senior designers, marketing teams, and internal stakeholders on creative projects.
• Make design revisions based on feedback and ensure final deliverables meet project requirements.
• Prepare and organize final design files for digital, print, and marketing use.
• Maintain organized design libraries, templates, source files, and project assets.
• Support multiple design projects while managing deadlines and competing priorities.
• Assist with the development of graphics for websites, email campaigns, presentations, advertisements, and social media.
• Research current design trends and provide creative ideas when appropriate.
• Ensure visual materials are accurate, professional, and consistent with established brand standards.
• Coordinate with external vendors or print providers when needed.
• Review final designs for quality, formatting, alignment, and consistency before delivery.
• Support senior designers with larger creative projects and production tasks.
• Contribute ideas to improve creative workflows, templates, and design processes.

Compensation & Contract Benefits

Annual Contract Rate: $55,000 – $75,000 per year, commensurate with experience, qualifications, and scope of responsibility.

• Schedule: Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
• Contract Duration: Initial contract assignment with potential for extension or renewal based on business needs and performance.
