Job summary

Signature Products Group in Utah is seeking a Junior Graphic Designer (ECOMM) to join the Marketing team. You will collaborate with designers to create and edit marketing assets for web retail, supporting the Ecomm team with elevated content and clean product imagery.

The role requires a passion for design, strong typography knowledge, and proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite. A bachelor’s degree in graphic design is preferred, with an opportunity to grow in a dog-friendly, learning-focused

The Junior Graphic Designer (for ECOMM) will work with other Designers and the Ecomm Team, while reporting to the Director of Marketing

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions

• Participate in bulk production tasks in photography and design.
• Collaborate with design team to create all manner of marketing materials.
• Edit photography and process assets for web retail and partners.
• Support Ecomm team in building and developing “elevated content” for Web.
• Clean up and Process product and lifestyle imagery for web.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and conduct research for Ecomm listing Content.
• Maintain, name, and organize files to bring consistency within internal organization systems.
• Participate in team critiques and design reviews, offering feedback and design notes.
• Assist with mockups, renders, prep, and other pivotal processes that support the design team as needed.
• Build and edit image assets in photoshop, filtering, and adjustments where needed.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Has a passion for design with good conceptual skills.
• Knowledge of design principles and typography.
• Good communication skills, interpersonal skills, and optimism.
• Ability to work with a team, and to enthusiastically take part in creative processes.
• Experience with the Adobe Design Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Self-motivated work ethic, detail oriented, and able to work autonomously.
• Has a collaborative problem-solving mindset, with ability to digest feedback to improve performance.
• Able to enthusiastically meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to assess, organize, and manage complex processes.
• Attention to detail, and ability to work within prescribed guidelines and style guides.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design strongly preferred.
• One (1) year experience from freelance or relative design school experience preferred.
• Internship at an entry-level graphic design role a bonus.
• A portfolio of relevant work (Print & Digital)
• Experience with Web Design, UX, UI a bonus
