Job summary

BAGGU, a design-focused bag company in San Francisco, is seeking a Junior Graphic Designer to join our Creative Team. You will collaborate with the Art Director and Senior Designer to produce assets across packaging, signage, and digital media, bringing the BAGGU brand to life through tactile and visual subjects.

You’ll contribute to packaging, window graphics, and marketing collateral, while learning from senior teammates. This hybrid SF role requires office presence at least 3 days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or Visual Communications.
• 1–2 years professional graphic design experience.
• Experience preparing files for print with bleed, crop marks, color modes.

Responsibilities

• Design and production of packaging, hangtags, and woven labels with production-ready files.
• Design and production of in-store graphics, including window vinyls.
• Design and production of printed matter and ephemera for stores and social gifting.
• Size and materials testing with Visual Merchandising for store signage.
• Quality review of all packaging and woven label samples in person.
• Design digital marketing assets including emails, ads, e-commerce, web, and wholesale assets.
• Create B2B sales materials such as linesheets and sales tools.

About the Role

BAGGU is looking for a Junior Graphic Designer to join our growing Creative Team in San Francisco. You will work directly with our Art Director and Senior Graphic Designer to produce creative assets across physical and digital brand touchpoints, with a primary focus on bringing the brand to life through packaging, in-store assets, signage, printed matter, and other physical applications.

We are looking for someone who is excited about visually expressing the BAGGU brand and learning from the more senior members of our creative team.

Location and Working Hours

• Hybrid office role - must be able to work in the San Francisco office (Dogpatch neighborhood) at least 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Design and production of packaging, hangtags, and woven labels, including preparation of production-ready files.
• Design and production of in-store graphics, including window vinyls.
• Design and production of printed matter and ephemera for stores and social gifting.
• Size and materials testing with Visual Merchandizing team to inform store signage.
• In person quality review of all packaging and woven label samples.
• Design digital marketing assets including emails, digital advertising, e-commerce, web, and wholesale assets.
• Design and production of B2B sales materials such as linesheets and other sales tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or Visual Communications.
• 1-2 years professional graphic design experience.
• Previous experience preparing files for print, with a working knowledge of print production basics such as bleeds, crop marks, and color modes.
• Proficient in Adobe Suite and Figma.
• A deep commitment to intentional aesthetics and typography.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Creative problem solving with the ability to work within and expand upon existing design system.
• Ability to work collaboratively and give/receive productive criticism.
• Ability to present new ideas or seasonal concepts to small and large groups.
• Understanding of the BAGGU brand.
