7Seventy is seeking a skilled software engineer to build and support games across console, PC, and mobile platforms. You will implement, test, and maintain production code, work with artists and designers to define features, and ensure systems align with project goals.

The role emphasizes collaboration within a tight-knit engineering team, iteration on gameplay features, and providing solid technical support to creatives throughout development.

You’ll work with engineers, artists, and designers to build and support games for console, PC, and mobile platforms. The role focuses on implementing game systems, maintaining production code, collaborating on features, and supporting creative teams throughout development.

What you’ll do

• Work with artists and designers to define game features and system requirements.
• Implement, test, debug, and maintain source code.
• Deliver functional systems that meet project requirements.
• Collaborate with other engineers to develop and iterate on game features.
• Provide technical support to artists and designers.
• Make informed trade-offs between scope, quality, and development pace.

Required qualifications

• Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a similar discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to set goals, manage workload, and communicate task status effectively.

Preferred experience

• Experience working with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with Unreal Engine or Unity.
• Experience with C++ or C#.
• Experience developing applications or games for mobile or console platforms.
