Job summary

Movement For Life INC seeks a Junior Full Stack Software Engineer to join a dynamic team. You will design and develop both front-end and back-end components, with emphasis on robust server-side logic in Laravel and front-end work in React/TypeScript.

AWS experience is a plus as is a track record delivering high-quality software. The role supports in-person work at Atascadero, CA with remote options; local CA/AZ/NC candidates are prioritized.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience as a full stack engineer with Laravel backend.
• Proficiency with React.js and TypeScript.
• Experience deploying and managing services on AWS (preferred).

Title: Junior Full Stack Software Engineer

Location: 6907 El Camino Real, Atascadero, CA 93422

Compensation: $100k annually plus benefits

Requirements:

• 6 Month contract with the possibility for extension or full-time employment
• Prefer local candidates (commuting distance to Atascadero, CA) to work in-person but remote is an option.
• Only considering candidates who live in CA, AZ, or NC.
• Experience as an architect and implementing robust server-side logic using the PHP backend framework, Laravel.

Responsibilities:

Full Stack Development:

• ? Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable and maintainable software solutions across the entire technology stack.
• ? Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features, enhancements, and improvements.

Front-end Development:

• ? Create responsive and intuitive user interfaces using TypeScript React as a frontend framework.
• ? Optimize front-end application performance and ensure a seamless user experience.

Back-end Development:

• ? Architect and implement robust server-side logic using the PHP backend framework, Laravel.
• ? Develop and maintain databases, ensuring efficiency, security, and scalability.

Database Management:

• ? Design and optimize database schemas, ensuring data integrity and efficient query performance.
• ? Implement data storage solutions and integration with third-party APIs.

Code Quality and Testing:

• ? Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following best practices and coding standards.
• ? Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing to ensure software reliability.

Collaboration and Communication:

Qualifications:

• ? Proven experience as a full stack software engineer using a backend web framework, preferably Laravel.
• ? Experience with Flutter for hybrid mobile development is desirable.
• ? Proficiency with a front-end web framework, preferably React.js.
• ? Solid understanding of databases, data modeling, and API design.
