Job summary

Ztek Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Junior Full Stack Java Developer - Tableau in Westlake, TX. Onsite day one with hybrid work options. The role requires a strong foundation in Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and RESTful APIs, plus experience with BI dashboards (Power BI) and cloud services.

You will collaborate in an Agile environment to deliver enterprise-grade data solutions, leveraging modern DevOps practices and container technologies. A Bachelor's degree in a tech field is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a technology related field.
• 3-5 years of demonstrable experience in full stack engineering.
• Proven experience building interactive dashboards, data visualizations, and business intelligence solutions using Power BI.
• Experience in design and development of enterprise-grade financial applications, using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and RESTful APIs.
• Demonstrated expertise designing, developing, and integrating Java Web services using Spring Boot and Spring Security according to service-oriented and microservices architecture.
• Extensive knowledge on Cloud Technologies and services on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure.
• Experience working with database technologies including Snowflake, Oracle and PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge on Kubernetes and Docker including AWS-EKS and Azure AKS.
• Good Knowledge in Monitoring tools like, Splunk and Datadog.
• Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills to understand complex customer needs and transactions.

Responsibilities

• Own development of full-stack features using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and RESTful APIs.
• Build and deploy interactive dashboards and BI solutions (Power BI).
• Collaborate within multi-developer Agile teams following coding standards and DevOps practices.
• Design and develop enterprise-grade financial applications.
• Develop Java web services with Spring Boot and Spring Security in microservices architecture.
• Leverage AWS and Azure cloud services for deployment and scaling.
• Work with Snowflake, Oracle, and PostgreSQL databases.
• Utilize Kubernetes and Docker (AWS-EKS, Azure AKS) for container orchestration.
• Monitor and troubleshoot systems with Splunk and Datadog.
