PTC's Arena division in San Mateo, CA seeks a Junior Software Engineer to learn and contribute to Arena’s SaaS front-end features. You’ll work with senior engineers, product managers, and QA to translate designs into maintainable UI code and improve test coverage.

Qualifications

• Foundational web development concepts (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Experience with a modern JS framework (React preferred).
• Exposure to Java, SQL, and relational databases helpful.
• Understanding of responsive design and browser compatibility.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Interest in learning in a cross-functional team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain front-end components using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Apply UI changes based on design mockups with guidance from seniors.
• Translate prototypes into structured, maintainable code.
• Enhance Arena Web and Application layers with fixes and improvements.
• Write simple unit tests and improve test coverage with mentorship.
• Participate in requirement discussions, code reviews, and design sessions.
