Advanced Energy, headquartered in Denver, CO, is seeking a Financial Analyst I to join Corporate FP&A for broad exposure to enterprise planning, forecasting, and reporting.

During 12–24 months, you’ll rotate across FP&A areas, build forecasting models, and develop strong business communication with leadership. Entry-level opportunity for recent grads with a finance/analytics background.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Solid Excel fundamentals (formulas, pivot tables, basic data cleanup).
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain the “so what,” not just the numbers.
• Growth mindset: curious, coachable, and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building and updating models used for OPEX, CAPEX, and consolidated financial forecasts, including key drivers, assumptions, and sensitivities.
• Prepare clear and structured variance analyses (what changed, why it changed, and what it means).
• Support monthly dashboards and recurring reporting packages with clear takeaways for FP&A leadership.
• Contribute to quarterly, annual, and long-range planning cycles, including data gathering, consolidation, and analysis.
• Partner with stakeholders across corporate functions to translate business activity into financial insights.
• You will build toward owning:
• Ownership of specific components of monthly reporting and analysis as experience grows.
• Improving forecast models, templates, and reporting workflows to reduce manual effort and increase accuracy.
• Supporting enterprise wide initiatives such as ERP modernization, system enhancements, and reporting automation (testing, validation, and deployment support).
• Contributing to special analytical projects (scenario modeling, resource allocation analysis, ROI assessments).
