Axiom Custom Products is seeking an Assistant Finisher to join our busy shop and contribute to high-quality, custom visual projects at scale. This entry-level role emphasizes hands-on work, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn alongside experienced teammates.

You'll handle surface preparation for paint or powder coat, operate a range of tools, and help move products through the finishing workflow while maintaining safety standards and a steady pace.

Qualifications

• Experience in a shop/manufacturing setting preferred, but willingness to learn is key.
• Strong time management and attention to detail are essential.
• Basic computer skills helpful for accessing project information.
• Reliable transportation to reach the shop and flexibility for overtime or weekend work.
• Safety-conscious, follow PPE and shop procedures.

Responsibilities

• Move projects through the finishing process with a focus on quality.
• Prepare and finish surfaces for paint or powder coat, including sanding and masking.
• Organize and stage parts, assist with painting or powder coat under supervision.
• Use a variety of tools and move products through the workflow efficiently.
• Flag issues and collaborate with the team to meet production goals and deadlines.
