Job summary

Parra Consulting Group (PCG) is seeking a Junior Financial Analyst to support DOI IBC-AQD Mission Support Services. The role assists with budget execution, invoice review, and financial reporting across acquisition and program operations.

The successful candidate will review contractor invoices for accuracy, help track budgets, and prepare routine financial reports while maintaining documentation per agency requirements. U.S. citizenship and trust determination are prerequisites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field required.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience required, or 4 years of directly relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Moderate Risk Public Trust determination.
• U.S. citizenship required to support this federal contract.

Required Qualifications

Required Experience

• Basic understanding of federal budget execution and appropriations concepts.
• Proficiency with MS Excel for data tracking and basic financial analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to federal financial management systems (e.g., FBMS or comparable ERP platforms).
• Coursework or certification in federal financial management.
• Prior experience supporting a federal contract or agency finance office.
