Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Jr. Systems Engineer to join our team and support our client in the Ft. Meade, MD area.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to document requirements, translate them into detailed specifications, and assist in configuring PeopleSoft modules to meet business needs. You will participate in testing, create test scripts, and coordinate UAT, while providing ongoing user training and documentation to promote system adoption and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other technical field.
• Experience with Data analysis or visualization and tools such as Tableau.
• Familiarity with SQL or Oracle.
• Experience with data organization using applications.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and end-users to gather, analyze, and document business requirements and process flows.
• Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, use cases, and system design documents for the development team.
• Assist in the functional configuration, setup, and maintenance of PeopleSoft modules to meet business requirements.
• Participate in all phases of the testing lifecycle, including creating test plans, writing test scripts, and coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Act as a primary point of contact for troubleshooting system issues, performing initial analysis, and collaborating with technical teams for resolution.
• Develop and maintain critical documentation, including functional design documents, process flow diagrams, user guides, and training materials.
• Provide ongoing functional support and training to end-users to promote system adoption and efficiency.
• Utilize SQL and PeopleSoft Query Manager to perform data analysis, generate reports, and validate data integrity.
• Assist senior analysts in identifying opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements.
