Responsibilities

• Cost Estimating System Evaluation: assess whether the contractor's estimating system yields proposals aligned with disclosed accounting practices and historical cost data.
• Certificate of Current Cost or Pricing Data Verification: verify data accuracy, completeness, and currency.
• Indirect Rate Realism Assessment: compare proposed indirect rates with established provisional and historical rates.
• Direct Labor and Material Cost Realism: evaluate labor hours and material costs against history and market pricing.
• Cost Realism Report and Source Selection Support: prepare a cost realism analysis report and support best value tradeoffs.
