Children's Mercy's Center for MOCT of CMRI invites applications for a junior faculty researcher to advance pediatric oncology/hematology research, collaborating across CMRI and CHOT. A PhD, MD/PhD or MD with post-doctoral experience is preferred.

The successful candidate will publish extensively, secure funding, and help develop new diagnostic and therapeutic approaches for children and young adults in a supportive, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• PhD, MD/PhD or MD credential required.
• At least three years of post-doctoral experience.
• Strong track record of high-impact peer‑reviewed publications.

Responsibilities

• Develop new diagnostic and treatment options for pediatric oncology/hematology.
• Collaborate with CMRI faculty and national/international partners.
• Build a nationally recognized research program in pediatric oncology/hematology.
