Job summary

sg360° is seeking a Junior Estimator to join our team. The role involves preparing accurate cost estimates for print and graphic communications projects, evaluating materials, production processes, equipment capabilities, and labor requirements to determine the most cost-effective methods.

This is a growth-oriented position within the printing and direct mail industry, offering exposure to all production areas and opportunities to advance as you gain experience.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business or Graphic Arts preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 1–5 years in customer service or estimating in printing/manufacturing.
• Experience in prepress, bindery, or purchasing printing materials a plus.
• Strong math aptitude and attention to detail.
• Proficient with MS Office and estimating software.

Responsibilities

• Review specifications and determine production method for orders.
• Estimate material, services, and labor costs for quotes.
• Coordinate with suppliers and scheduling to ensure timely production.
• Maintain est. files and reports; support sales with cost guidance.
• Stay informed on material markets and new products.
• Assist in developing cost-based sell prices.
