Job summary

CACI has an exciting opportunity for an Engineer to support the Navy Submarine program at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC. You will assist in development, procurement and sustainment of undersea warfare technology, providing direct support to PMS 404 Undersea Weapons Office.

The role requires a DoD secret clearance, minimum two years of military engineering experience, and collaboration with DoD/Navy program management teams in a fast-paced government environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical field.
• At least two years' experience supporting military clients in engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for technical and business tasks.
• Excellent communications and analytical skills.
• Experience with DoW/Navy program management, engineering, Government technical management, or Industry business / technical management
• Active DoW Secret Clearance
• Experience with Navy or DoW acquisition processes may be preferred

The Opportunity:

CACI has an exciting opportunity for an Engineer to provide engineering support to the U.S. Navy Team Submarine organization at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC. We are seeking a candidate to join our team and assist the Navy in the development, procurement and sustainment of cutting-edge undersea warfare technology. You will provide direct support to the Team Submarine’s PMS 404 Undersea Weapons Program Office.

Responsibilities:

You will support engineering efforts that provide technical and managerial direction for problem definition, analysis, requirement development, and implementation for complex systems in the engineering discipline for the program.You will participate in efforts that develop recommendations and advice on system development, improvements, and optimization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical field


• Minimum of two years of experience supporting military clients in engineering


• Possesses analytical and problem-solving skills for both technical and business-related matters.


• Excellent communications and analytical skills.


• Experience with DoW/Navy program management, engineering, Government technical management, or Industry business / technical management

• Experience supporting the US Navy or active-duty Navy experience is strongly preferred
