Job summary

Manhattan Legacy Service, LLC is seeking an Engineer to support mission-focused efforts at Y-12 CNS in Oak Ridge, TN. The Engineer will apply technical expertise to engineering analyses, experimental activities, data processing, and the development of technical products.

The ideal candidate will have 4–8 years of engineering experience, strong technical background, and the ability to work independently while contributing in a team. DOE Q/SCI clearance is required at hire.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of engineering or related technical experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, applied science, mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience planning, conducting, and documenting experiments or technical evaluations.
• Experience processing, analyzing, and interpreting large data sets.
• DOE Q and SCI or DoW/OGA TS/SCI clearance at the time of hire.
• Strong technical writing, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Developing and executing technical analyses, planning and conducting experiments, processing and interpreting large data sets, and preparing technical reports and presentations.
• Support mission goals by coordinating with team members and stakeholders and managing multiple projects.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, evaluate results, and deliver programmatic products and technical deliverables.
