Office 365 Performance Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated Entry Level Office 365 Performance Engineer to join our Health Insurance client's end user services team. The ideal candidate will perform daily testing of Office 365 products, identify and escalate issues, and work collaboratively with IT teams and vendors to ensure optimal performance and a seamless user experience.

Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of Office 365 products and performance testing.
• Proficiency in Office 365 and G Suite.
• Familiarity with SharePoint, PowerPoint, Slack, and Teams.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with coding and debugging.
• Experience with system administration and networking.
• Knowledge of IAM and identity governance.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to learn independently and demonstrate curiosity.

Responsibilities:

• Test Office 365 products daily on various devices to ensure they work well.
• Identify and document issues, then escalate them before they affect users.
• Analyze issue patterns and provide insights for resolution.
• Evaluate features from both technical and user perspectives.
• Collaborate with IT teams and vendors for a seamless user experience.
• Develop test cases and use cases based on how end users use the tools.
• Provide daily/weekly ticket data, including demand patterns and age.
• Report on issues and their root causes.
• List upcoming features from vendors with release dates.
• Create content for newsletters and communications.
• Provide technical documentation like FAQs and best practices.
• Communicate vendor-triggered issues to the organization.
• Understand and evaluate user experience for functionality and responsiveness.
• Collect and analyze user feedback to improve system performance.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and debug code.
• Perform system administration and engineering tasks.
• Utilize networking knowledge to support system infrastructure.
• Work with Office 365 and G Suite, including co-authoring Google Docs.
• Handle telecom-related tasks.
• Manage identity governance and access controls.
• Understand and work with SharePoint, PowerPoint, Slack, Teams, and other collaboration platforms.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
