GQR is seeking a Junior Electronic Trader in New York to join a multi-asset trading team. The role blends electronic trading, execution analysis, and market-structure research to improve performance.

You'll participate directly in the electronic execution process, analyze transaction costs, and work with large datasets. A foundation in statistics and a quantitative degree is required, with interest in systematic investing.

Formación

• Background in statistics and quantitative analysis.
• Understanding of transaction cost analysis and execution costs.
• Familiarity with electronic execution and trading algorithms.
• Experience with trading analytics or execution analytics is a plus.

What they’re looking for:

• 1–3+ years of experience in trading, electronic execution, or trading analytics
• Strong foundation in statistics, probability, and quantitative analysis
• Understanding of TCA, execution measurement, liquidity, and transaction costs
• Exposure to electronic execution, trading algorithms, and broker/venue analysis
• STEM, Finance, Economics, or another quantitative degree
• Strong interest in financial markets and systematic investing
