Job summary

Everlight Solar is seeking an Electrician to join our growing Midwest team. This permanent, full-time direct-hire role focuses on electrical work within solar projects and requires a journeyman license, with 1-2 years of electrician experience and preferred solar background.

You will participate in project pre-planning, manage material logistics, and mentor 2-3 apprentice electricians in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Journeyman license required.
• 1-2 years of Licensed Electrician experience (required).
• 1+ year of Solar industry experience (preferred).
• Driver's License required.

Responsibilities:

• Have full range of mobility in the upper and lower body - Be able to work in various positions, including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling and squatting for extended periods of time.

• Regular, reliable and predictable attendance required
• Be able to lift, pull and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks
• Be able to lift 50 pounds of weight frequently throughout assigned workday
• Ability to climb ladders and install conduits
• Perform work at heights of 20 feet or more
• Willing to submit to a driving, drug, and criminal background check

Salary: $70,000-$75,000/ year
