Job summary

CACI International Inc. in Dulles, VA, is seeking a Junior Electrical Engineer to support the design, development, and maintenance of complex electronic systems, including analog and digital circuits, under the guidance of senior engineers and across Mechanical, PCB Design, Software, and Production Engineering teams.

This full-time role requires strong communication, teamwork, and multitasking in a fast-paced R&D environment, with up to 10% travel locally, and offers opportunities to build

Qualifications

  • Must be able to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
  • 0-3 years of relevant electrical/computer engineering experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings.
  • Familiar with standard engineering tools and test equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Execute ECOs to modify and improve existing designs.
  • Design cabling diagrams and harness documentation.
  • Modify and update system drawings and schematics.
  • Troubleshoot both digital and analog electronic systems.
  • Assist in building prototypes and testing.
  • Support lab testing and simulations under guidance.
  • Participate in system integration and testing activities.
  • Create and maintain design specifications and test procedures.
  • Assist with component selection and verification.
  • Support field integration and deployment activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams through the product lifecycle.
  • Participate in design reviews and technical discussions.
  • Follow design standards and contribute to continuous improvement.
