Job summary

Haskell is seeking an entry-level Design Associate to support engineering and design deliverables. You will participate in conceptual design, integrating power, lighting, and emergency systems, and help prepare construction documents using drafting software.

You will collaborate with the Lead Associate to ensure code compliance (NFPA 70, 72, 101) and project schedules, while growing your knowledge in electrical engineering concepts and project delivery within a nationally recognized Top

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering or related field, ABET/NCARB accredited.
• EiT/FE certification preferred for entry-level progression.

Responsibilities

• Conceptual design integrating power, lighting and emergency systems.
• Develop power distribution designs and panel schedules.
• Lighting design considerations and calculations per code requirements.
• Fire alarm design including initiation and smoke detection layouts.
• Telecommunications device layouts and adherence to EIA/TIA standards.
• Create complete construction documents and utilize drafting software.
• Support design package development and ensure schedule adherence.
• Assist in construction administration and field coordination as needed.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to expand knowledge.

Education
