Job summary

Peregrine Advisors is a data and technology innovation hub delivering for federal stakeholders. This hybrid Washington, DC-area role focuses on building secure delivery pipelines, automation, and infrastructure-as-code to support Authority to Operate (ATO) processes.

You will work in a collaborative environment, writing pipelines, containerizing services, and integrating security testing. The team emphasizes adaptability, continual learning, and public value through responsible technology

Qualifications

1 year of software development, platform, or operations engineering experience.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
Scripting ability (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
Working knowledge of CI/CD concepts, with hands-on experience in at least one pipeline tool
Familiarity with cloud services on AWS and with containerization
Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (CloudFormation or Terraform)
Basic proficiency in writing, PowerPoint, and Excel

Responsibilities

Build and operate CI/CD pipelines to enable repeatable deployments.
Enforce security through automated testing and policy-as-code checks.
Develop infrastructure-as-code templates and containerization workflows.
Advance shift-left practices to bake security and reliability in from the start.
Collaborate across teams to improve tooling and auditable traces.
