Job summary

Cydecor is seeking a Junior Data Scientist (Analytic Efficiency) to analyze complex data sets, develop ML solutions, and drive analytics across multiple DIA initiatives. The role supports OBI and other mission systems with data visualization, modeling, and governance.

Active TS/SCI clearance is required, with work locations in NCR, Reston VA, and Washington DC. You will collaborate with teams to automate data workflows, develop semantic data retrieval methods, and ensure analytic tradecraft

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or 7+ years substituting for degree) in a related field.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of the concepts involved in the job functions.
• Knowledgeable of IC and DoD classification guidelines and procedures.
• Ability to gather, evaluate, and synthesize multiple information sources.
• Ability to work semi-independently with oversight and direction.
• Ability to defend analytic judgments with sound logic and adapt as needed.
• Ability to produce timely analytic reports using Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Conducts data analytics, data engineering, data mining, exploratory and predictive analysis.
• Uses graphical, written, visual, and verbal narratives to inform analytic decisions.
• Retrieves data from diverse sources and analyzes it for better understanding.
• Builds AI/ML tools to automate processes and improve efficiency.
• Develops high-quality prediction systems and analytics.
• Utilizes Power BI and Tableau for data visualization.
• Uses R, Python, and SQL for data processing and analysis.
• Performs data integration across disparate sources and applies statistical methods.
