Job summary

BinTech Group is seeking a data engineer to assist in the design, development, and maintenance of basic data pipelines and data integration processes. You will support collection, processing, and storage of structured and unstructured data from multiple sources, and work with relational databases and data warehouses using basic SQL queries.

You will use Python or Java to support data processing and automation tasks under supervision, assist in ETL workflows, and collaborate with senior engineers

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in CS/CIS/Engg/IT/Data Science or related field.
• 12 months of experience in related occupation after degree.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design, development, and maintenance of basic data pipelines and data integration processes.
• Support collection, processing, and storage of structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
• Work with relational databases and data warehouses to store and retrieve data using basic SQL queries.
• Use Python, Java, or similar language to support data processing and automation tasks under supervision.
• Assist in implementing and supporting basic ETL workflows and data movement processes.
• Collaborate with senior data engineers and analysts to support data-related requirements.
• Monitor data workflows and help identify and resolve basic data issues following established procedures.
• Follow coding standards, data governance policies, and security guidelines.
