Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Data Analysts, and software engineers to understand requirements and deliver data solutions.
• Build, maintain, and enhance batch data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows under senior engineers.
• Write SQL and scripts to extract, transform, validate, and load data from various sources.
• Design and maintain datasets, tables, views, and data models for downstream applications and analytics.
• Implement data quality checks, reconciliation steps, logging, and monitoring for data accuracy.
• Troubleshoot pipeline and data issues, communicate blockers, and elevate risks with diagnostics.
• Modernize legacy data processes toward secure, automated, cloud-based solutions.
• Contribute to code reviews, tests, pipelines, and runbooks; support safe releases.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work with Business Analysts, Data Analysts, Software Engineers, and peers to understand requirements and deliver data solutions.
• Build, maintain, and enhance batch data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Write SQL and scripts to extract, transform, validate, and load data from various sources.
• Help design and maintain well-defined datasets, tables, views, and data models for downstream applications, reporting, and analytics.
• Implement data quality checks, reconciliation steps, logging, and monitoring to ensure data accuracy and availability.
• Troubleshoot pipeline and data issues, communicate blockers, and elevate risks with diagnostic information.
• Help modernize legacy data processes towards secure, automated, cloud-based solutions.
• Contribute to code reviews, automated tests, build pipelines, documentation, and runbooks.
• Support safe releases, backfills, and reprocessing by validating results and documenting changes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, data engineering
• Experience with SQL

Compensation:

Salary: $70,000 – $95,000, Plus Bonus
