Job summary

Airo Digital Labs, LLC is seeking a growing data engineer to support the Senior Data Engineer in building and operating the ingestion and transformation pipelines that feed the platform.

You will work on ETL/ELT pipelines, write SQL and Python transformations on Databricks and Postgres, and contribute to data-quality checks and pipeline health monitoring. The role offers opportunities to learn lakehouse, streaming, and graph technologies while contributing to real-world data assets.

Qualifications

• Solid SQL and Python required.
• Exposure to Databricks / Spark and cloud data pipelines.
• Understanding of ETL/ELT concepts, relational modelling and Postgres.

• Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for FedEx, customer and third-party data sources under guidance.
• Write and optimize SQL and Python transformations on Databricks and Postgres.
• Implement data-quality checks and help monitor pipeline health.
• Assist with graph and ontology data loads and documentation of data assets.

Must-have Skills & Technologies

• Solid SQL and Python.
• Exposure to Databricks / Spark and cloud data pipelines.
• Understanding of ETL/ELT concepts, relational modelling and Postgres.

Prior Experience

• 1–3 years in a data engineering or analytics-engineering role (internships and strong project work count).
• Eagerness to learn lakehouse, streaming and graph technologies.

Nice to Have

• Any exposure to Azure, Event Hub, or data governance tooling.
