Job summary

Sapience AI in Seattle seeks a Junior Data Analyst to enable evidence-based product decisions. You will gather information, evaluate sources, structure data, and turn complex material into clear first-draft findings.

You’ll support market, pricing, and adoption analyses while reporting to the Lead Analyst and product leaders. You will independently own well-scoped assignments, communicate clearly, and apply sound judgment to distinguish signal from noise.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of professional experience in research, business analysis, market analysis, or related roles.
• Experience writing and troubleshooting SQL queries to extract, filter, join, and validate data.
• Experience with BI, survey, or data-visualization tools and communicating findings to nontechnical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Support eight connected areas of work with independently scoped assignments.
• Organize qualitative feedback into themes, patterns, and representative language.
• Attend interviews or discovery sessions when assigned and capture accurately.
• Prepare background briefs, interview guides, and note-taking templates.
• Create research briefs, evidence tables, and background materials for roadmap discussions.
• Map customer needs to product capabilities without overstating evidence.
• Track decisions, open questions, and supporting evidence for future reference.
• Maintain high research standards and ensure traceable findings.
