Job summary

Qualifications

  • 0-3+ years of data analysis experience or related roles.
  • Working knowledge of SQL or similar query languages; exposure to Python, Alteryx, Excel is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of data validation, reconciliation, and data quality practices.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially for data accuracy and control-oriented environments.
  • Ability to work with structured and semi-structured datasets in a regulated setting.
  • Interest in Financial Crime and Crypto-related analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Perform foundational data wrangling and preparation across datasets related to Fraud, GFC, and blockchain transactions.
  • Assist in data reconciliation and validation to ensure accuracy of investigation datasets.
  • Support creation and maintenance of recurring reporting outputs and analytical deliverables.
  • Work with senior analysts to prepare datasets for investigative workflows; structure and clean data for downstream use.
  • Conduct data quality checks and escalate inconsistencies or anomalies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Fraud, GFC, and Technology teams to meet data needs.
  • Assist in handling restricted datasets accessible to US-based staff with data governance controls.
  • Contribute to production reporting support with recurring data refreshes and validation tasks.
  • Document data processes, assumptions, and transformations in audit-ready format.

We're seeking someone to join our team as a Junior Data Analyst in NFR Data & Analytics to support data wrangling, reconciliation, and reporting workflows for Crypto-related investigative analytics within our Financial Crime Risk program.In the Legal & Compliance division, we assist the Firm in achieving its business objectives by facilitating and overseeing the Firm's management of legal, regulatory and franchise risk.
