Job summary

CBTS in Columbus, OH is seeking a Junior Cybersecurity Project Manager to oversee IT/security initiatives with a hybrid/onsite schedule. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage project scope, schedule, and budget, and report to senior stakeholders.

The role requires at least 3 years of relevant experience and familiarity with waterfall, Agile, and SDLC practices. Ideal candidates have leadership skills, the ability to engage executives, and a background in computer science or related

• Experience leading large complex projects with mixed labor components.
• Strong knowledge of PM best practices across waterfall, agile and SDLC.

Job description

Role: Junior Cybersecurity Project Manager

Location: Columbus, OH - Hybrid, Onsite

Pay Rate: $45-60/hour on W2, client will not consider C2C

"3+ years’ experience in role with:"

• Experience with project management and leadership across IT and business functions.
• Experience managing large complex projects that consist of a combination of internal/external and labor/non-labor cost components
• Extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of project management best practices including knowledge of waterfall, agile and SDLC methodologies and tools
• Must have excellent leadership skills (proven ability to coach, develop, and lead a team) and must be able to work with a diverse project team consisting of resources from all parts of the organization (both IT & Business)
• Proven ability to engage and develop relationships with executive sponsors and key stakeholders with clarity and precision
• Experience with project cost management and resource capacity planning
• Strong Business Process Analysis and Mapping skills
• Experience implementing change management approaches to support projects
• Experience in the indirect management of team members including assisting in the development, training, and assignment of work/projects to other members of a team
• Familiarity with the Energy Industry is a plus "
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience that demonstrates experience with technical project management and project leadership
• 20 hours of ongoing professional training per year"
• Agile certification such as PSM (Professional Scrum Master) and Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) a plus
