• Ability and willingness to do shift work.

Responsibilities

• Monitor computer networks for security issues.
• Investigate security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents.
• Document security breaches and assess the damage they cause.
• Work with the security team to perform tests and uncover network vulnerabilities, such as penetration testing.
• Fix detected vulnerabilities to maintain a high-security standard.
• Recommend best practices for IT security.
• Install security measures and operating software to protect systems and information infrastructure, including firewalls and data encryption programs.
• Conduct analysis, confirm intrusion information and create a forensically sound duplicate of the files.
• Decrypts data and provide technical summaries and input.
• Examine recovered data for relevant information and perform dynamic analysis (timeline, statistics, file signatures).
• Perform real-time cyber defense tasks to support deployable Incident Response Teams (IRTs).

SUMMARY:

Noetic is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Cybersecurity Analyst to join our growing security team. In this junior-level role, you will play a key part in protecting our organization's digital assets by assisting in the detection, analysis, and response to cybersecurity threats and incidents. The ideal candidate will have foundational knowledge of security principles and a strong interest in security operations, with hands‑on experience or coursework involving Splunk.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
