Qualifications

• Cybersecurity fundamentals and incident response concepts.
• Security incident handling processes including identification, documentation, escalation, containment, and resolution.
• Ability to apply critical thinking and sound judgment to evaluate information and resolve issues.
• Email threat analysis, suspicious-message indicators, and safe handling of potentially malicious links and attachments.
• Effective written, verbal, and presentation techniques for communicating cybersecurity topics to diverse audiences.
• Public speaking and facilitation of tours, presentations, and outreach events.
• Experience in marketing, internal communications, recruiting, or outreach is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a junior Incident Handler, managing minor security incidents per the CSIRP.
• Review and investigate Cyber Threat Mailbox submissions through resolution, including phishing and email threats.
• Engage with associates reporting suspicious emails to gather details, provide guidance, and report outcomes.
• Analyze suspicious messages to determine risk and next steps.
• Document investigative actions and outcomes in case-management systems.
• Escalate threats to senior CTC personnel as needed.
• Collaborate with CTC team and stakeholders to support containment and user education.
