Job summary

Cayuse Holdings is seeking a Cyber Incident Response Analyst in Washington, DC to enhance the cybersecurity framework. This role involves case management and coordination of cybersecurity incidents while ensuring exceptional customer service.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline and CompTIA Security+ certification, with between 0-2 years of experience. The Analyst will work in a professional environment, supporting a 24/7 operational center.

Competitive pay range between $83,500 and $87,500 per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Homeland Security or Business, or related experience.
• CompTIA Security+ certification required for cybersecurity principles.
• ITIL v4/v5 certification in IT service management best practices is a must.
• Experience in delivering high-quality customer service.
• Must be able to work varying hours to support 24/7 operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line support for incidents reported by staff and customers.
• Categorize and elevate incidents according to severity.
• Coordinate with regional teams and partners for incident management.
• Deliver exceptional customer service during incident responses.
• Perform oversight of incident communication and case routing.
