Job summary

C&N Bank is hiring a Credit Analyst I to support its commercial lending and Credit Administration teams. You will analyze financial statements, research borrowers and industries, and prepare credit approval documents to inform lending decisions.

You will review financial information, participate in annual reviews, and develop an understanding of the bank's credit risk framework while collaborating with Relationship Managers and Credit Officers to ensure accurate and timely outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a directly related field is required.
• Less than a year of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial statements and supporting information for existing and prospective commercial borrowers.
• Prepare credit approval documents for new, renewed, and extended loans with clear rationale.
• Research credit and financial information to support underwriting.
• Prepare annual reviews of borrowing relationships and understand the risk-rating system.
• Assist with Credit Administration reporting and watch list processes.
