Job summary

Norm Ai seeks a Junior Counsel to support its full legal function and Norm Law's business needs. You will collaborate with the Head of Legal and Norm Law’s Managing Partner, handling corporate, commercial, employment, IP, and data security matters while aiding business operations and GTM initiatives.

Ideal candidates are ambitious, with 2–3 years of top-firm/in-house experience, strong judgment, and a practical, business-minded approach to legal work in a fast-paced, AI-enabled environment.

Qualifications

• JD and barred in at least one state (NY preferred).
• 2–3 years of experience at a top-tier law firm and/or in-house at a high-growth company.
• Generalist by inclination across corporate, commercial, employment, IP, data privacy/security.
• Strong corporate/transactional foundation with broad curiositiy.
• Exceptional judgment, discretion, and ownership.
• Pragmatic and business-minded; supports GTM as well as review work.
• Highly organized and systems-oriented with a low-ego mindset.

Responsibilities

• Support corporate and governance needs including board consents and filings.
• Administer equity, maintain cap table, and corporate records across subsidiaries.
• Develop governance understanding between Norm Ai and Norm Law; assist operations.
• Draft and review commercial agreements and client engagement letters; build templates.
• Operationalize go-to-market motions; support GTM efforts.
• Support employment, IP, data privacy, and security compliance.
• Escalate matters when needed; build templates and approval workflows.
