Job summary

QISG, based in Houston, TX, is seeking a motivated Junior Cost Specialist to support project financials across multiple EPC projects. This entry-level role includes full training for a career in project controls and is an in-office position with core hours 8 AM to 5 PM.

The successful candidate will enter and reconcile material receipts, coordinate with Expediting and Project Teams, and help ensure accurate documentation and reporting. Growth opportunities abound within our expanding program.

Qualifications

• Experience: 0-1+ years in cost control, project accounting, or financial analysis is a plus.
• Experience with JDE, EcoSys, or Procore is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Enter and reconcile material receipts in JDE, uploading BOLs and supporting documents.
• Coordinate with Expediting and Project Teams to ensure accurate receiving documentation.
• File receipts in Procore and match POs or budget codes to AP invoices.
• Verify billings, retention, taxes, and lien waivers for AP accuracy and compliance.
• Post costs, quantities, and forecasts in EcoSys; update ETC/EAC as required.
• Prepare and review Executive Cost Reports with PMs and Project Controls leadership.
• Submit monthly cost and billing forecasts on schedule.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, standards, and reporting deadlines.
